After four days of hard work the participants, their family, fans and all others involved got to know the results of the more than 50 skills competitions with over 400 competitors at the Awarding Ceremony of EuroSkills 2008 in Rotterdam. More

Since 1998, FEUPF has been organizing a contest named EUROFLEURS. This contest serves as a comparison in craftsmanship and creativity between young florists with a maximum age of 25, originating from different countries. This competition gives young florists the opportunity to put their first steps on an international platform. As a general rule, the Eurofleurs Cup takes place every second year: exceptions are permissible and are to be decided by the FEUPF General Assembly. More

The competition section of the European Competition for Florists began at 10.00 a.m. Competitors from twenty countries: Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Finnland, Belgium, Germany, Croatia, Great Britain, Chech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Norway, Spain, Polandand Switzerland, have already created their first arrangements in the task called Pippi's Feast. Air in the Red Hall in Velenje is already full of floral aroma. The competitors from 20 countries have begun with preparations of material and decorations, which they will need during the competition tomorrow. More
